After getting the drawings, select different blanking methods according to different opening drawings and batches, including laser, CNC punch, plate shearing, die, etc. Then open it according to the drawing. Placing the worktable next to the NC and laser is conducive to placing the plate on the machine for processing and reducing the workload of lifting the plate. Some available edge materials are placed in the designated place to provide materials for the trial mold during bending. After blanking, the corners, burrs and joints of the workpiece shall be trimmed (polished) as necessary. The tool joint shall be trimmed with a flat file, the workpiece with large burr shall be trimmed with a grinder, and the small inner hole joint shall be trimmed with a corresponding small file to ensure the appearance. At the same time, the trimming of the appearance also ensures the positioning during bending, so that the position of the workpiece against the bending machine is consistent during bending, and ensures the consistent size of the same batch of products.

After blanking, enter the next process, and different workpieces enter the corresponding process according to the processing requirements. There are bending, riveting, flanging tapping, spot welding, convex hull and segment difference. Sometimes press the nut or stud after bending one or two times. Among them, the convex hull and segment difference of the die should be processed first to avoid the interference of other processes after processing first, so as to avoid the required processing. When there is a hook on the upper cover or lower shell, if it cannot be welded after bending, it shall be processed before bending.

After bending, riveting and other processes are completed, the workpiece shall be subject to surface treatment. Different plate surfaces have different treatment methods. After cold plate processing, the surface is generally electroplated, and spraying treatment is not carried out after electroplating. Spraying treatment shall be carried out after phosphating. Clean the surface of the plating plate, degrease it, and then spray it. Stainless steel plate (including mirror panel, fog panel and wire drawing plate) can be drawn before bending without spraying. If spraying is required, roughening is required; Aluminum plates are generally treated by oxidation, and different oxidation backgrounds are selected according to different colors of spraying.

Commonly used are black and natural color oxidation; The aluminum plate needs to be sprayed after chromate oxidation. Surface pretreatment can clean the surface, significantly improve the adhesion of the film and double the corrosion resistance of the film. In the cleaning process, first clean the workpiece, hang the workpiece on the assembly line, first clean the solution (alloy degreasing powder), then enter the clean water, then pass through the spray area, then pass through the drying area, and finally remove the workpiece from the assembly line.

This is the general process of ordinary sheet metal processing. The work is simple, but sometimes it is difficult to do.
